An example would be: one business owner decides to use the service of an online development company for their website and another company for the printed works, without having end products essentially coordinated. In such example, you have paid for entirely different projects but instead of having those works compounding the brand of your company and building it exponentially, you may actually end up having poorly matched or unmatched marketing tools.
There are lots of ways to ensure that you won’t fall into brand inconsistency. Well, you should ensure that before you start your own business you have a good brand identity and brand strategy. These two factors should be based upon the insight of the customers. You should also consider thinking way beyond your identify system and brand’s architecture carefully.
Additionally, you need to anticipate the possibilities of new products, services, media, and any other applications that may be created. So, always have some room for improvements.
