How To Avoid Annoying Website Design

For a company, individual or a Florida web design company, a certain website design may be extremely appealing and one may be entirely satiated with the eventual product but there are many website design problems that can make a website annoying for the user.

Like any consumer products, a website should not only be what the company wishes to develop and a South Florida web design company can accomplish but it should also be to the liking of the users. In this age when there are billions of websites, the last thing you wish your customer or client to feel is annoyed with your website and eventually leaving the site.

Here are some tips that everyone, including the graphic design Florida companies, should abide by to not make an annoying website.

Front Door/Pop Up

There are many business websites that have a front door, a gateway page where a user is expected to click ‘Skip’, ‘Proceed’ or something else to get to the home page or the specific web page the user is looking for. This is an instant turn off. Why would a customer or any user have to toggle through one or more pages to get to the desired web page? Likewise, pop up is the last thing that you should have. Whether it is an advertisement which is a part of the promotional strategy or some really cool stuff being shared with the user, pop-ups are annoying distractions and should be avoided.

Music/Frill Graphics

Every graphic design Florida company would perhaps want to develop a unique site for a client but there are many ways to be unique and music or frill graphics are not on that list. Unless you have a video montage of images or a slideshow on display or the website is that of a music, movie or media production company, music has no place in a normal business website. Graphics are desirable but frill graphics are not. Your website cannot be about excessive graphics which actually mean nothing and offer no useful information.

Heaps of Text/Images/Videos

Overdoing anything is bad. You cannot fill your web page with 2000 words, 100 photos or 50 videos. There should be a fine blend of everything. Content should be readable, the images should be appealing but not on the face and you cannot have videos placed all over the web page. A good Florida web design company would always strategize the layouts with great finesse.

Upon graduation, with little money and a ton of risk, Danny took his project and put his degree into action by starting his own website design business. With little direction, he began to learn the ins and outs of running a website development and marketing agency through trial and error. To start, Dsquared Media resided in a tiny 210 square foot office space located in Delray Beach, Florida that was barely room enough for employees to work. As time progressed, so did Danny’s knowledge on maintaining and running a successful business based on progressive marketing strategies. Currently, Dsquared Media employs 12 media professionals and is located in a space over 7 times larger than the tiny office in Delray. Danny attributes his success to a keen eye for intelligent design and an inspiration to live according to his passions.
